SLOUGH TOWN BEER FEST 2014

This year, the festival is supporting the charity Age Concern (Slough & Berkshire East). This independant local charity (which is not part of the national Age UK charity) is committed to improving the quality of life for local people, their carers and families, so that they can enjoy a better life in later years. For more info, please see their Website.

Tue 19th to Mon 25th August 2014

As part of this year's celebrations, several Slough town centre pubs (all within easy walking distance), will be presenting a wide range of Real Ales and Ciders, sourced locally and nationally. As usual, the main focus will be on the "Slough Publicans Barrel Roll", which will take place on August Bank holiday Sunday.

The Festival is being organised by Slough Publicans Forum, supporting well run community pubs.

The Barrel Roll details are...

  • Starts from The Moon & Spoon at 12.30pm on Sunday. The route is then:
  • The Red Cow
  • The Wheatsheaf
  • The Rising Sun

Come along and support your pub, and enjoy some great beer!

Below is a list of the town centre pubs, and a guide to the Real Ale on offer. You can see that there will be a terrific range of well over 20 ales available throughout the town!
