SLOUGH TOWN BEER FEST 2013
This year, the festival is supporting the charity S.W.I.P.E. This Slough-based charity aims to bring young people together, especially from different faiths, mainly through the medium of music. For more info, please see their Website.
Tue 20th to Mon 26th August 2013
As part of this year's celebrations, six Slough pubs (all within easy walking distance), will be presenting a wide range of Real Ales and Ciders, sourced locally and nationally. The festival will also be holding a variety of amusing pub entertainments, including the annual "Slough Publicans Barrel Roll", which will take place on August Bank holiday Sunday. Beer Festival T-shirts will be available from Wed 14th, from the participating pubs; these are a bargain at only £10.
The Festival is being organised by Slough Publicans Forum, supporting well run community pubs.
This year's festivities will be launched once again by our very own Mr Mike Stevens, playing the part of the Town Crier. This will be on Tuesday evening at 7.30pm at the Moon & Spoon.
