The ‘Carpenters Arms’ in Windsor is Slough, Windsor & Maidenhead CAMRA Pub of the Year 2010.
Every year, local CAMRA members get to choose their favourite pub from those listed in our Good Beer Guide.
The pub is located in a cobbled street close to Windsor Castle and could easily rely on its location to attract trade but the publican, Dave Crook, has built up an enviable reputation for the range and quality of his ales. He has gained accreditations from Cask Marque and Beautiful Beer plus an award from the owners of the pub, Nicholsons Inns.
The award was presented on 5th May, by Branch Chairman Delia Allott.
Our warmest congratulations to Dave and his staff. The pub now goes forward to the Berkshire regional round where it will be judged against other CAMRA branch winners in Berkshire.
